I'm not an expert! I'm just a girl who knows a few things, and would like to share it with you. :) I also want to add that I do not get paid for advertising stores and products, these are just things I use and places I go. (A LOT)

Acne prone skin?

So now that we've covered the cleansers, you should have fresh clean faces right? Well if you have acne prone skin, and cleansers aren't enough, I've got some tricks for you.
I know that lots of people have used proactiv, skin I.D., murad and many more products that claim to work, but fail to do so. They have the right idea, but sometimes the products just don't work on some skin. The reason could be the medication isn't strong enough therefor you still end up with acne or they're too strong and you end up with a burning dry face. If that has happened to you then this might help... Please remember that if you sensitive skin, this may be too harsh for it and could end up burning your face badly.
There are two things that will get rid of most acne, salicylic acid, and benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic acid is for the surface acne and benzoyl peroxide brings them out.
All you have to do is go to your local department store (Wal-mart, Target, Fred Myers, etc.) And look for these three items, one is astringent with 2% salicylic acid , and what this does is cleans your pores even AFTER you've washed your face (it's gross sometimes) you may want to use toilet paper or disposable baby wipes (not just for babies!), then I combine the other two items on my fingertips and then rub then on my face like lotion (avoiding the eyes and mouth region.) One is a dual action moisturizer with 0.5% salicylic acid and the other one is called persa-gel 10 with 10% benzoyl peroxide. You can rather buy them separate or you can buy them in a kit and you don't need use these morning and night, and I don't recommend you to do so. It's best if you try these out at night, but if you do decide to use it in the morning don't forget sunscreen!
